De Synology DS716+II is the successor to the DS716+ and has been designed for small offices that are looking for a compact and powerful shared storiage solution.
The DS716+II has been fitted with a Intel® Celeron® quad-core CPU, a built in AES-NI hardware encryption engine, 2GB DDR3 RAM and can be expanded to up to 7 hard disks in combination with the Synology DX513 Expansion Unit.
A simpel installation process and hot-swappable drives ensure a stable operation and easy maintenance when a drive needs replacing.
