Compared to conventional headphone cables, the LL-RD 2024 employs a significantly higher quantity of monocrystalline silver, with 400 cores across four strands and a cross-sectional area of 24AWG. This larger silver conductor reduces resistance and minimizes signal loss, ensuring faster and more reliable signal transmission.
To fully utilize the high-resolution properties of monocrystalline silver, the LL-RD 2024 is crafted with a coaxial braiding technique. Each of the four main strands consists of six smaller strands, each containing 14 wires, along with an additional strand of 16 wires for added signal integrity. This results in a robust 200 cores per main strand for each positive and negative pole. High-purity silver optimizes conductivity, enhancing soundstage, detail, and transparency for a smooth yet dynamic audio performance. Additionally, a braided shielding layer with the same core configuration further isolates the conductor from external interference, ensuring a balanced, natural sound profile.
