Ajax Systems GlassProtect

A miniature wireless detector that recognizes broken glass up to a height of 9 meters. If someone tries to enter a property through a broken window, the system immediately notifies the users and a security company. At the same time, a passing car, thunderstorms and barking dogs do not cause a false alarm.

Authentication to prevent forgery. Detection of jamming and encryption of communication channels. Alarm in case of sabotage.

Operates for up to 7 years without needing to replace the battery. Ignores thunder, barking dogs and noise outside the window. Detects glass breakage at a distance of up to 9 m. 

Operating principle

Detects glass breakage with an electret microphone that records the sound of impact against the glass or falling glass.

Functionalities

Thanks to the two-factor detection of glass breakage, false alarms caused by thunder, barking dogs or noise from passing trucks are avoided.

Installation and setup

Ready to use straight out of the box: the battery is already installed, so there is no need to disassemble the detector. Connected to the hub in the mobile application with just one click. It can be mounted on the SmartBracket in just a few minutes.
