FIIO BTR17

The BTR17 features Qualcomm's cutting-edge QCC5181 Bluetooth chip, which supports the latest Bluetooth LE Audio standard and boasts a transmission bandwidth of 2.1Mbps. This chip offers lossless sound quality via the aptX Adaptive system, delivering CD-level audio over Bluetooth, ensuring you experience every detail in your music with remarkable clarity.

Supporting Bluetooth 5.4, the BTR17 also offers compatibility with LDAC, aptX Adaptive 96kHz/24bit, and aptX Low Latency codecs. When paired with Snapdragon Sound technology, these features elevate your Bluetooth audio experience to unprecedented levels of quality.

The BTR17 includes a dedicated D.Mode (desktop mode) switch and a port for connecting an external power supply. When used in desktop mode, the BTR17 can function as a dongle DAC and headphone amplifier. Connecting an external power supply allows the device to draw power directly via USB, avoiding overcharging or discharging its internal battery. This setup enables the BTR17 to deliver powerful audio output—up to 650mW+650mW in balanced output—without draining your phone's battery.

Equipped with two ESS ES9069Q DACs based on the advanced fourth-generation 32-bit HyperStream architecture, the BTR17 offers exceptional performance while minimizing power consumption and reducing digital noise. The result is a cleaner, richer sound that enhances your music experience.

For seamless audio performance, the BTR17 employs the flagship XMOS XU316 USB chip, ensuring low latency, stable transmission, and excellent compatibility. Supporting 768kHz/32bit audio, DSD512 native, and MQA full decoding, the XU316 can handle virtually any audio format you throw at it.

FIIO's engineers have also developed a high-precision, 10-band lossless PEQ (parametric equalizer) based on the XU316 platform. Offering up to 192k high-definition PEQ adjustments via app or web interface, you can fine-tune EQ frequency points, gain, bandwidth, and Q value. The PEQ also lets you simulate or correct headphone frequency responses, and you can save, share, or import/export custom EQ curves for a personalized audio experience.
