Based on the accurate analysis of the characteristics of the speaker units by the German KLIPPEL system, the Edifier Acoustic Lab has arrived at a flatter curve required for a monitor speaker thanks to dozens of adjustments.

With a 4-inch woofer and the support of a D-class amplifier, we have been able to reach low frequencies up to 60Hz, achieving remarkable bass reproduction.

Work with professional equipment

Thanks to 6.35mm TRS balanced inputs, the MR4 Studio Monitor can be connected to a console, mixer and other professional equipment. Thus, with an input sensitivity of +4dBu, you can build a small music production system.

Digital Signal Processor

MR4 uses a high-quality TI ADC (analog-to-digital converter) chipset, SNR up to 99dB, in combination with the TI digital amplifier chip TAS5713, and from this uses the built-in DSP to complete sound adjustments for excellent performance in dual mode.

Less resonance

MR4 has an MDF wood enclosure to reduce resonance and rendering effects to restore the original tone.

Fine and Natural

A 1-inch silk dome tweeter with a special coating provides smooth and natural treble. The integrated specially designed front panel, combined with the tweeter dome, provides clearer and better dispersion of high frequencies.

Enhanced professional quality

A moderate addition of MICA to the traditional cone maintains softness and relaxation for the ear with more natural details. It enhances the rigidity and hardness of the cone to improve the low frequencies and depth of bass.

Clean reproduction

Unlike other entry-level monitor speakers, the MR4 features an inductive and capacitive second-order frequency divider so that both the woofer and tweeter can get better signal input, thus reproducing the purity of the sound.

Dual mode sound effect

With the special dual-mode sound effect, the user can select the monitor mode to hear the true-to-life sound for music production, or switch to the music mode for a more dynamic reproduction for an everyday listening experience.

Easy to operate

Turn the front multifunction knob to adjust the volume, turn on/off by pressing the knob longer, or press it twice to switch sound modes.

Versatile connections

In addition to the balanced TRS input, the MR4 also has two unbalanced inputs, RCA/AUX, and a headphone jack on the front. This allows you to easily connect multiple sources at once.
