The all-new FF3S comes with an upgrade in build quality! The FF3S features aluminum alloy construction with a matte finish, providing a subtle but distinctly more luxurious look than its predecessor. Another advantage of the aluminum alloy construction is its lower weight. Each earbud of the FF3S weighs only 3.9 grams, making each earbud 52% lighter than the FF3. This provides a whole other level of comfort for longer listening sessions, especially for those with ears that are very sensitive to weight.

FIIO listened to user feedback and provided the FF3S with a 0.78 mm 2-pin detachable cable, giving users endless upgrade options to enhance their listening experience. An easy-to-feel tip was also added to the left earpiece to make it easier to distinguish between the left and right earpiece, for a truly ergonomic design.

The open nature of the earbuds makes the FF3S safer and suitable for outdoor activities such as hiking or biking. So standard with the FF3S are silicone wing hooks to ensure the earbuds stay in your ears. Wherever you go, let high-fidelity music accompany you.

Good sound comes not only from the size of the driver, but also from the materials from which it is made. After many tests by the FIIO R&D team, a beryllium-plated dome + PU packing dynamic driver was chosen for the FF3S. The beryllium-plated diaphragm is both very stiff and lightweight, reducing unwanted vibration and thus unwanted distortion. PU is used for the dynamic driver gasket and its characteristics provide more detailed and textured bass. Not only does the bass come through beautifully, human voices in the mid frequencies are lush and the treble is also significantly improved - with an effective frequency range of up to 17 kHz. A larger effective frequency range also has the advantage of giving the impression of a larger soundstage.
