The JDS Labs Atom Amp 2 is designed for listeners who demand more from their headphone amplifier. A successor to the Atom Amp+, this second generation introduces a sleek aluminum chassis with an ergonomic metal knob, two headphone outputs (4.4mm and 6.35mm) and rugged DC protection. At the heart of the Atom Amp 2 are octo-buffers that deliver more than 2600mW (2.6W) per channel, completely clean and distortion-free-and with exceptionally low noise levels. With front controls, hand-selected potentiometers and support for personalized engraving, the Atom Amp 2 is the ultimate amp for everyday use.

Metal Housing

The Atom Amp 2 is housed in a durable, anodized aluminum chassis that combines strength and elegance. The textured metal knob offers a better grip and the housing can be personalized with free laser engraving, allowing users to add text or artwork of their choice.

Wealth in Abundance

While most headphones require only milliwatts, the Atom Amp 2's octo buffer delivers more than 2.6W per channel, allowing it to effortlessly drive sensitive IEMs as well as demanding full-size headphones.

Dual Inputs, Dual Outputs

The Atom Amp 2 acts as both amplifier and preamplifier and accommodates two sources, easily switching between 3.5mm and RCA inputs at the touch of a button. On the front panel are both 6.35mm and 4.4mm headphone outputs for maximum flexibility.

Pre-amplifier outputs

When headphones are disconnected, the volume knob automatically switches to the RCA preamplifier outputs, making it easy to control the volume of active speakers.

Dual Gain Settings

The Atom Amp 2 offers a low gain of 1.0x-precisely tuned with hand-selected potentiometers-for efficient IEMs, while the high gain effortlessly drives demanding headphones, especially when combined with the 2 VRMS Atom DAC 2.
