After more than 3 years since the release of M15, M15S is finally here. As a pocket desktop player, it continues some of the technical features of the portable desktop player M17, while having a comfortable handle like M15, achieving an ideal combination of great portability and high performance. All these features are thanks to its elite designs.

Desktop/Portable Dual Power Supply

In addition to the desktop/portable dual power supplies, five levels of amplification, etc. inherited from the M17, the M15S has other impressive improvements. It is equipped with an automatic "DC supplemental power supply" - the M15S automatically recognizes when USB fast charging is used and automatically switches to the power supply with the highest voltage. Therefore, under USB power supply, the ultra-high amplification level is available, allowing undistorted output of up to 1200mW per channel, easily enough to drive a wide variety of IEMs and headphones.

In addition, the M15S is designed with a special desktop mode. In the special desktop mode and under USB fast charging, the M15S essentially turns into a desktop device and works completely without battery. That is, in this mode, the battery is neither charged nor discharged, thus preventing premature degradation of the battery.

High-end configurations in one device

Since FiiO positions the M15S as a “pocket desktop player”, the configuration material cannot be compromised. The M15S not only features the full-featured, unadulterated desktop ES9038PRO DAC chip with eight independent D/A converters for a truly rich and highly resolving sound, but also Qualcomm’s flagship QCC5124 Bluetooth chip, which supports Bluetooth 5.0, 2-way Bluetooth for SBC/AAC/aptX/aptX HD/LDAC.

With its powerful configurations, M15S supports 6 modes including Roon Ready, Pure Music, Android, AirPlay, Bluetooth receiving and USB DAC, meeting your needs in different usage scenarios and bringing you a better listening experience.

Excellently designed

In order to give you a consistently good experience inside and out, FiiO has put a lot of effort into making the internal and external designs of the M15S, from heat dissipation, shielding, volume control, etc., as good as possible.

The M15S uses multi-layer metal shielding and a stainless steel battery holder, which helps to effectively and quickly dissipate the heat generated inside the device. It also uses low temperature drift and high-precision thin-film resistors and capacitors, which can stably cope with temperature fluctuations.

In order to shield the M15S from interference as best as possible, elaborate designs are used: a shielding cap made of high-precision nickel-copper, on which other heat dissipation and shielding materials and wave-absorbing paper are stacked. The high-quality components and the thoughtful design of the shielding are all aimed at ensuring a truly clean and highly involving sound.

It's also worth mentioning that the volume on the M15S can be controlled using either an analog potentiometer knob or buttons, both of which allow you to easily adjust the 120 volume levels to your preference.
