The Onix Tocata XM2 is an ultra-compact music player that brings together the essence of ONIX in a portable and well-thought-out design. By combining the pure musical focus of the Overture XM5 with the compact size of the Waltz XM10, the XM2 delivers recognizable ONIX sound quality in a player that is perfect for listeners who want top performance without unnecessary bulk.

At the heart of the XM2 is the flagship Cirrus Logic CS4308P DAC, an advanced 8-channel architecture that enables a fully balanced circuit. Combined with ONIX's proprietary Brighton I/V conversion circuit and dual SGM amplification, the XM2 delivers powerful and refined performance with up to 800mW of output power at 32 ohms. Thanks to its extremely low output impedance, it is suitable for both demanding headphones and highly sensitive IEMs, with excellent control, dynamics, and tonal accuracy.

The XM2 runs on a specially developed Pure Music operating system, built on the Ingenic X2000 platform. This system is entirely focused on sound quality and stability, without distractions from smartphone-like features. Music can be played locally via microSD cards, streamed via Tidal, or accessed wirelessly via DLNA and AirPlay, ensuring a smooth and versatile listening experience.

Despite its compact size, the XM2 offers a surprisingly complete set of connectivity options. Bi-directional Bluetooth 5.2 enables both wireless streaming from a smartphone and direct connection to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Via USB digital output, the XM2 can be connected to external DACs, while USB DAC mode transforms it into a high-quality audio interface for computers and mobile devices. The precision-milled aluminum housing underscores the premium look and durability of the design.

Operation is intuitive and refined thanks to the bright 3-inch OLED touchscreen with 720p resolution, complemented by physical buttons and a separate volume knob for precise control. With support for remote control via the Eddict Player app and SyncLink, the XM2 is easy to manage from your smartphone.
