The AudioQuest PowerQuest 2 power conditioner effectively filters out noise and contamination from the mains power so that AV components connected to it will immediately perform better. To this end, the PowerQuest 2 has a total of six mains power outputs available where output 1 features a 4K/8K Video Optimized Linear Filter with patented Noise-Dissipation technology that allows televisions and projectors to deliver the highest performance.

Output 6 is a so-called High-Current output and it is specifically intended for powerful amplifiers, an AV receiver, subwoofer or soundbar. Outputs 2 through 5 have a Linear Filter and are intended for AV sources, computers, modem or router. On these outputs, this PowerQuest 2 delivers a noise reduction of over 22dB between 30kHz and 1GHz. With this, this PowerQuest outperforms most regular mains filters. Finally, the PowerQuest 2 features two convenient USB charging ports so you no longer have to use separate AC adapters.

Excellent protection

Besides filtering the current, this AudioQuest PowerQuest 2 also protects against harmful surges in both the power grid or in case of (lightning) strikes in the (central) antenna system. The PowerQuest switches off within 0.25 seconds at peaks up to 6kV and 3kA so that AV equipment is optimally protected. Should an unexpected 'high voltage' event occur, you can quickly and easily read this via the LED indicators on the side of the housing. Due to its unique design, the PowerQuest can be placed horizontally or vertically so that cabling can always be neatly concealed.
