The Sendy Audio Egret is an open over-ear headphone that has clearly been developed with the serious music lover in mind. This magnetostatic model from Sendy Audio, the high-end sub-brand of Sivga, combines modern planar technology with the recognizable craftsmanship and natural materials for which the brand is known.

At the heart of the Egret is a newly developed planar magnetic driver measuring 98 x 84 millimeters. This makes it the largest and most advanced driver that Sendy Audio has built to date. The ultra-thin composite membrane, less than 800 nanometers thick, is designed to respond quickly and in a controlled manner. This translates into accurate reproduction, a high level of detail, and consistent sound across the entire frequency range.

Sendy Audio uses the Electron Beam Evaporation Deposition process to apply the conductive tracks to the membrane. This involves depositing aluminum circuits at the atomic level, which contributes to higher resolution and lower distortion. The result is an open and transparent sound that is ideal for critical listening, both in the living room and in a studio environment.

The ear cups are made from solid natural wood and finished by hand. Thanks to the unique wood grain, no two pairs are exactly alike. The open design provides a spacious and airy sound image, while the combination of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship perfectly matches the signature of Sendy Audio.

Comfort has also been clearly taken into account. The contoured headband and soft leather ear pads distribute the weight evenly across the head. Weighing approximately 420 grams, the Egret remains comfortable to wear, even during long listening sessions.

The Egret comes standard with a high-quality detachable 1.8-meter cable. It is constructed from a carefully selected blend of oxygen-free Furukawa copper, silver-plated copper, and enamel-coated gold-plated copper. The graphene-reinforced PVC jacket ensures flexibility and durability. Both a 4.4 mm balanced adapter and a 3.5 mm single-ended adapter are included, allowing the headphones to be easily connected to a wide range of devices. The 2.5 mm connectors on the ear cups are compatible with Sendy's existing cables.
