Monitor, manage and replace disks and memory online in Synology DSM. Out-of-band (OOB) management lets you remotely reboot, reset or view logs while the system is down.

Plug-and-play expansion

The DS1823xs+ can scale up to 18 slots by adding two DX517 expansion units without shutting down the system, thanks to online volume and memory expansion.
