New concentric driver with cast chassis
A wide-surround tweeter improves low and high frequency extension, allowing for better blending with the midrange. An all-new midrange driver with large diameter voice coil, vented rear axle and new neodymium magnet provides better excursion and control of midrange frequencies. A new die-cast chassis is designed to minimize reflections towards the cone, resulting in greater clarity.
Newly developed 6.5" aluminum woofer with die-cast chassis
Dramatically improving low-end reproduction, this newly developed bass driver features a one-piece, curved aluminum cone with a large vented rear magnet that provides improved linearity and better low frequency response than any previous Uni-Fi bookshelf speaker.
Extra reinforcement
To reduce the influence of the speaker cabinet on audio quality, the Uni-Fi Reference line implements full perimeter bracing that significantly reduces cabinet vibration and cabinet coloration.
New bass reflex port
The newly developed bass reflex port uses both internal and external flares, enabling reduced noise and high bass reproduction for improved low frequency dynamics.
