Meet the new A5000 earphones, following in the footsteps of the flagship A8000 and the popular A3000/A4000 IEMs. Final has completely redesigned these earphones with a new driver, acoustic chamber and newly developed braided cable.

Newly developed driver

The A5000 features a new 6mm f-Core DU dynamic driver developed and designed entirely in-house, including parts and production equipment. The sound quality is designed based on Final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship A8000 earphones. The driver's front housing material is brass, which is less susceptible to magnetic forces and has a higher specific gravity than general aluminum.

In addition to the so-called "transparent sound" that allows you to clearly hear sounds localized at a distance, you can even hear the finer sounds in the mid-low range, giving each sound a sense of depth.

New method for assessing sound quality

The development of the A Series began with the establishment of a new evaluation method based on the analysis of the relationship between sound quality and physical characteristics, and the result was the A8000. We listen to music recorded in different qualities and at different volumes. However, in conventional evaluation methods, the subjective evaluation is usually done under fixed conditions, such as the sound pressure reproducing the sound, making it difficult to evaluate good sound based on actual listening to a product. The A5000 uses a new evaluation method for creating sound that matches actual music listening situations.

Improved ergonomics

Based on the optimum housing design for IEMs established during the development of the B Series, the A5000 provides an even better fit. Whether earbuds are comfortable is determined by the feeling of pressure. Compared to the shape that touches the ear with an organically large surface area, the shape that limits the contact area strives to feel worn without feeling oppressive. The A5000 housing is held at three points for a stable fit. Therefore, it fits most people's ears. When there is no pressure at all contact points, you will be able to feel that the earphones are so comfortable to wear, as if they were custom-made earphones.

Newly designed cable with silver coating

The enclosed cable is a newly designed product developed for the A5000. An 8-core silver-plated OFC wire is woven into it, making it smooth and easy to handle. The 2-pin connector is a precision product developed in-house and uses the 0.=.78mm standard, which is considered the most versatile.

Earhooks are useful for reducing contact noise, and when worn, the unpleasant gurgling noise (cable contact noise) that occurs when the cable touches the body while walking is drastically reduced. The conventional earhooks are slimmer than generic earhooks, and provide a comfort that makes you forget you are wearing them because they do not feel like a foreign object compared to cables with flex wires or resin. It is a type (TYPE B) with a locking mechanism that can be securely attached to the cable.
