The AM-1's two-way design features an inverted driver unit where a 25mm aluminum dome tweeter is mounted below a fiberglass bass/midrange driver rather than above it. This ensures optimal sound dispersion when the speaker is mounted high on the wall. Bass reproduction is enhanced by a rear-mounted ABR. Thanks to this ABR instead of a regular bass reflex port, the AM-1's bass response is exceptional for a speaker of this size. Furthermore, this makes the AM-1's enclosure weatherproof under all conditions. This combination of advanced driver units, unique configuration and classically simple crossover components results in a speaker that is as musical as it is flexible.

The AM-1 is specially designed and therefore easy to install and exceptionally flexible. It can be placed horizontally or vertically. With a grill made of rust-resistant aluminum and a rigid enclosure made of glass-filled plastic, the AM-1 can withstand extreme exposure to dust, moisture and UV radiation. While clearly particularly suited for outdoor use, the AM-1 is also excellent for placement in shared indoor spaces thanks to its discreet design and impressive performance.
