Audio-Technica ATH-ADX3000

The ATH-ADX3000 is inspired by the ATH-ADX5000, the flagship model among Audio-Technica's open-air headphones. It was designed specifically to introduce the natural sound of open-air technology to a wider audience. The headphones have integrated 58 mm drivers, making the diaphragm, voice coil, sound box and magnet one unit. This improves airflow and reproduces audio across the entire frequency range. This optimized construction eliminates unnecessary sound distortion, resulting in all-frequency range audio reproduction with natural bass, clean mid and high frequencies and a detailed, realistic soundstage.

Japanese craftsmanship

Audio-Technica has been a leading innovator in transducer technology for more than 60 years. Therefore, the design of the driver is given extra emphasis, providing optimal sound for each headphone. Moreover, the ATH-ADX3000's integrated drivers are hand-assembled at our Machida, Tokyo factory for the highest possible quality.

A robust connection

Since 2015, Audio-Technica has used the specially designed A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connector on all its in-ear headphones and on a selection of over-ear headphones with detachable cables. Why did it develop this connector and what makes it perform better than existing connectors in audio applications?

The open design of the ATH-ADX3000 provides unrestricted airflow that prevents sound from being distorted or artificially altered. This results in an extremely pure sound with a truthful sound field and image.
