The Primare CD15 Prisma is a digital audio source equipped with CD playback, high-res streaming and multiroom functionality. Thanks to the built-in Prisma streaming module this CD15 allows you to play not only your CD collection but also Internet radio, online music libraries and digital music files in outstanding sound quality. If you own an integrated amplifier without streaming functionality, you can easily add all desired digital functionality with this CD15 Prisma. With this elegantly designed Primare CD15 prism you can easily combine traditional digital CD playback and high-res streaming audio.

Functionality

Stream your digital music files in high-res sound quality over the (wireless) network from your NAS or music server. The CD15 Prisma is also equipped with a USB port that allows you to play music from a USB storage device with the same ease. The streamer supports virtually all known file formats and can handle PCM streams up to 32bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD128. If you want to easily stream music from your iOS or Android device, you can do so simply via Bluetooth, Airplay2 or with Chromecast.

Multiroom Streaming

Through the Prisma app you control the CD15's features and operate the Prisma multiroom streaming functionality simply and intuitively. Stream music via Internet radio, Spotify Connect to any room in the Prisma multiroom/multizone environment in an instant and listen to your digital in superior sound quality. Finally, this Primare CD15 is Roon-ready, so this network player integrates seamlessly into any Roon multiroom environment. With this CD15 Prisma, the entire family streams their favorite music in the greatest of ease.

The CD15 Prisma features a high-quality DAC and also has a coaxial and optical digital output that allows you to connect this CD15 to an external premium DAC as well. The player features an analog line output with fixed and variable output volume. Combine this CD15 Prism with a high-end audio system, a power amplifier or with a set of active Hi-Fi speakers. This way you can create a high-quality minimalist music system in no time.
