The DB2D subwoofer features the same 10-inch Aerofoil cones as B&W's renowned 800 D3 loudspeaker. The required power is supplied by a highly efficient 1000W Class D amplifier.

Power and subtlety

With its erormous power, two opposing drivers and incredibly rigid cabinet that helps combat distortion to ensure deep, precise low end, the DB2D is the ideal subwoofer for any usage scenario. It offers more than enough power for outstanding home theater performance, but is also subtle and precise enough to add just the right depth to stereo recordings.

Aerofoil for precision coating

The DB2D features the same Aerofoil cones as B&W's flagship 800 D3, These two 10-inch cones are lightweight and ultra-rigid. They resist bending much longer than conventional cones and deliver controlled low with unprecedented precision.

Balanced drivers

The DB2D subwoofer features two bass drivers positioned opposite each other in a balanced configuration that greatly reduces cabinet vibration and produces a cleaner, more precise sound. The result: fantastic, color-free low from a compact subwoofer.

Digital

The all-new digital preamplifier always transmits the awe-inspiring power of the DB2D optimally. Customization features such as Dynamic EQ and Room EQ ensure precision in all circumstances - such as home cinema, a recessed installation or two-channel hi-fi.

Own app

The DB2D can be set up, configured and used via an app, for both iOS and Android. It provides guidelines for proper setup and can be used to set and control both output and audio presets. The Room EQ system allows you to automatically adjust the subwoofer to your listening room. No separate microphone set is required.
