DC04PRO combines many well-selected parts and advanced technologies, such as dual CS43131 flagship DACs, dual RT6863 high current output OPAMPs, synchronous DC-DC converter, ultra-low noise LDO, FPGA, KDS femtosecond oscillator, multi-function APP, Pentaconn 4.4mm balanced output, CNC aluminum alloy casing and tempered glass panels. All of these are forged into a USB DAC & AMP with excellent sound quality, high output power, high current output, dual output interfaces, replaceable cables, excellent power consumption control and excellent specifications. Svnchronous DC-DC converter & LDO with ultra-low noise

The quality of the power supply has a direct impact on the sound quality. The DC04PRO uses a synchronous DC-DC converter and a high-speed, low-noise LDO, which provides the dongle with sufficient clean power, making your music sound dynamic and powerful.

Balanced AMP 10V Voltage Swing

DCO4PRO uses dual RT6863 chips, creating a 4-way fully balanced amplifier with ultra-low distortion. With an output current of up to 100mA and working under a 10V voltage swing, DCO4PRO output reaches 280mW@32Ω. With the well-designed analog circuit, DCO4PRO gives your sound a full body with emotional impact. You can say goodbye to the often thin and cold digital sound of smartphones.

FPGA + KDS Femtosecond Oscillator

iBasso has used their internally developed FPGA algorithm and applied it for the first time in a dongle. Together with the KDS femtosecond oscillator, the jitter is well controlled and the sound reproduction becomes more distortion-free, which improves the sound quality.

Lower power consumption

DCO4PRO consumes less power and features a power saving mode. When using the normal balanced output, the power consumption is 650mW; the single ended output switches off the unused half of the AMP, reducing power consumption to just 550mW. When power saving mode is enabled, the AMP section is switched off and bypassed, with output directly from the DAC’s internal AMP. In this mode, the power consumption is just 410mW. Compared to the power consumption of similar dongles, which can be as high as 700-800mW, DCO4PRO has lower power consumption and heat generation, which benefits long-term listening.

Excellent and practical design

The DCO4PRO housing is made using CNC to precisely manufacture high-quality aluminum alloy. The open volume control structure requires complex steps during processing, which is both visually appealing and fits the required function. The DCO4PRO uses tempered glass panels and is both aesthetically pleasing and high-quality.

Detachable cable

The DC04PRO comes standard with a detachable cable design featuring a USB-C to USB-C cable with a USB A adapter, allowing it to be used with most Android devices. When using the included USB-C to lightning cable with the DCO4PRO, you can use it with Apple devices.
