The ELAC Debut Reference DBR62 is a compact 2-way bass reflex loudspeaker. This new bookshelf loudspeaker from the Reference series by ELAC is based on the popular Debut series and offers an even more intense music experience through new loudspeaker techniques. This DBR62 is mainly aimed at music lovers who prefer an aesthetically beautiful monitor loudspeaker with an excellent sound quality. For film lovers this is also a perfect choice for use as front or surround loudspeakers in a multichannel setup.
'Enhanced' sound quality
The housing of the DBR62 speakers is internally equipped with so-called 'Enhanced Bracing' which prevents unwanted cabinet coloration. The woofers in this Reference series are equipped with feather-light Aramid fiber cone material and a new, even stiffer cast aluminum chassis. This reduces cabinet resonances even further. By applying a new Dual Flared Slot Port, the Reference DBR62 delivers a clean and deep continuous bass.
Open and musical
The soft-dome tweeters in this Debut Reference DBR62 have a newly designed waveguide for even better radiation behavior. Combined with a more open design of the protective grilles, the tweeters deliver a perfect response in the highest audible frequencies. Thanks to this new tweeter, you will experience beautifully detailed music reproduction and a wonderfully open sound image with this compact Reference DBR62.
