ELAC Debut Reference DCR52

The ELAC Debut Reference DCR52 is a 2-way bass reflex center speaker with a double midbass driver and a double flow port. This DCR52 is mainly aimed at film enthusiasts who want to combine this center speaker with the DFR52 or DBR62 speakers for the front channels and DBR62 speakers for the surround channels. The DCR52 from ELAC is based on the concept of the popular Debut series and offers an even more intense film experience through new speaker technologies by optimal intelligibility of singing and speech.

'Enhanced' sound quality

The housing of the DCR52 speakers is equipped with a new Dual Flared Slot Port. With this, the Reference DCR52 provides sufficient weight in the reproduction of voices. ELAC has also applied so-called 'Enhanced Bracing' internally, which prevents unwanted cabinet coloration. The double midbass drivers in this DCR52 are equipped with light and stiff Aramid fiber cone material and have a new, even stiffer cast aluminum chassis. This reduces cabinet resonances even further. This gives voices sufficient body, but they certainly do not sound too thick.

Open and musical

The soft-dome tweeters in this Debut Reference DCR52 have a newly designed waveguide for an even more effective radiation behavior. Combined with a more open design of the protective grilles, the tweeters deliver a perfect response in the highest audible frequencies. By using this new tweeter, you will experience a perfectly defined speech exactly from the center of the sound image with this center speaker from the Reference Series.
