The Violectric DHA V226 is a new product in the Violectric lineup. It offers a competitive DAC, a balanced headphone amplifier and a preamplifier function. The DAC is based on Cirrus CS 43131 with a typical dynamic range of 130 dB and THD as low as -115 dB. It comes with a USB-C input and supports PCM signals up to 32 bits and a sampling rate of 384 kHz, as well as DSD up to 256.

The roots of the headphone amplifier circuit can be found in the acclaimed and award-winning predecessors V200, V280 and V281. Inside DHA V226 is provided with the similar natural yet smooth and pleasant sound.

With its unparalleled technology, the DHA V226 not only offers a powerful headphone amplifier, but also:

• Lowest noise - due to a very small amount of internal gain. This makes the self-generated noise of the amplifier inaudible.
• High output voltage - via 50 V internal operating voltage. Therefore ideally suited for headphones with high impedance that deserve a high output voltage swing.
• High output power - thanks to powerful amplifiers that provide much more power, even the most demanding headphones would need. So best suited for headphones with low impedances and magnetostatic headphones!
• High damping factor - due to the lowest output impedance. Therefore the ideal match for difficult to drive headphones without negative side effects and with the guarantee of an uncompromising frequency response.

DAC? Headphone amplifier? Preamplifier? Any combination? The headphone outputs or line outputs on the back can be activated/deactivated by a switch on the front.
