With the Elegant BS 305, we choose a legendary loudspeaker that originated in 1995, still with the same iconic aluminum enclosure, also known as the "A4 piece." Over the years, the loudspeaker has been continuously developed, with the latest addition being the Elegant BS 305. Equipped with a high-quality soft dome tweeter and an aluminum sandwich woofer, this compact speaker delivers exceptional sound. Handsome speaker chassis

With a compact enclosure, great attention must be paid to the woofer in order to ensure full low-end reproduction. Therefore, the 11.5 cm woofer is equipped with the proven ELAC aluminum sandwich cone, equipped with an optimized magnet system. This results in exceptionally solid bass, which enhances the overall, impressive and colorful sound reproduction of the Elegant BS 305. ELAC's special 25 mm silk dome tweeter has a dual-layered, ferrofluid-cooled voice coil and offers a frequency range of up to 28 kHz.

Functional aluminum housing

The 6.5mm-thick aluminum enclosure is cast in one piece, providing rigidity and resonance freedom. The speaker chassis are attached directly to the side walls of the enclosure, eliminating the need for a front baffle. This allows the soundstage to detach from the speakers, resulting in an airy and spacious soundstage.

Practical optional Alrulastic aluminum base

Of course, the Elegant BS 305 can be placed on a piece of furniture with the included adhesive felts, but that does the speaker a disservice. The sturdy Alrulastic aluminum base has rubber damping material on the top with a refined structure so that acoustic feedback has no chance. This base can also serve as an adjustment plate that can be screwed onto the LS 60 speaker stand, onto which the Elegant BS 305 can be firmly screwed. A perfect base.

The personal touch

The Elegant BS 305 comes without grilles because it offers a multitude of options for personalizing the speakers. Without a grill, this speaker is already beautiful to look at. Of course, there are also the usual black and white metal grilles, but there are also grilles with color painted plastic frame and fabric trim in eight color combinations. There will even be an online tool available with which the fabric can be designed to your own taste, whether it should match the curtains, cushions in the sofa or even a favorite shirt.
