Meze Elite

The Meze Elite, as its name suggests, is Meze's new flagship model. These open-back over-ear planar-magnetic headphones feature all the technical marvels that the Romanian manufacturer has developed over the past three decades. The result is headphones with a magical soundstage, a wonderful warm tonal balance and a remarkably natural timbre. Despite performing very well when used with most sound sources, these headphones deliver top performance when used with a quality headphone amplifier.

The parts of these headphones are manufactured with CNC precision and are extensively inspected before each one is assembled entirely by hand. The design of the Meze Elite's support structure is not only beautiful to look at, it also contributes significantly to its high wearing comfort during prolonged use. Thanks to the use of carbon fiber with optimal pressure distribution and the flexible, head-shaping leather of the carrying strap, these lightweight headphones fit like a glove.

Isodynamic hybrid array

The Elite's planar-magnetic driver features a featherweight Rinaro Parus Diaphragm. Thanks in part to the high speed of this ultra-thin diaphragm and the powerful magnets, these headphones play with ultra-high resolution, reproducing even the smallest nuances and important transients in the music losslessly. The Magnetic Field Shielding technology improves the listener's head protection against magnetism by up to 95%.

Love for music

Thanks to the split diaphragm with the Dual Driven System, the low is built up in the upper part of the diaphragm and the mid and high tones in the lower part which is located right in front of the ear canal. Sound reproduction thus takes place in a more "natural way" and the result is uncompromising Audiophile music reproduction.

These headphones come with a 3.5mm, 6.3mm or 4-pin XLR headphone cable and two comfortable earpads of different material. The Alcantara one, developed for the Empyrean premium model lets the listener experience music with ultimate comfort. The Hybrid earpad is constructed from a combination of alcantara and leather. With this, the headphones deliver a wonderful openness and less powerful low end without sacrificing the emotion in the music. Finally, Meze delivers this top model in a robust protective aluminum storage case that once again underlines its premium character.
