Meze Audio introduces the Empyrean II - an innovative planar magnetic headphone that marks the brand's continued pursuit of audio perfection. Building on the success of the original Empyrean - already one of the most technologically advanced designs - this new generation emerges as a symphony of artistry, innovation and craftsmanship.

For the second generation model, Meze Audio’s specialists have further refined Rinaro Isodynamics’ exceptional Isodynamic Hybrid Array driver design, improving performance even further. “When creating Empyrean II, our goal was to improve the headphones’ ability to reproduce fine details and achieve a more neutral sound signature, while maintaining their original “easy-to-listen” character. With this in mind, our engineers have masterfully harnessed the power of the driver to reveal new possibilities in terms of responsiveness and accuracy, making the driver even more reliable in challenging acoustic environments,” explains Mircea Fanatan – Managing Director of Meze Audio.

New duo ear cushions for a customized experience

The Empyrean II comes with two sets of earpads, each designed for a different experience. Our most advanced earpads in the Empyrean series yet, the brand new Duo Earpads are custom-made for Empyrean II. Crafted from a precision blend of premium leather and Alcantara, they feature a contemporary look and tone. With leather forming the base half and Alcantara covering the rest, these earpads deliver a harmonious tonal balance that resonates across all music genres. For a classic audiophile experience, the Angled Alcantara Earpads excel at reproducing the intricate details and nuances of your recordings. The angled shape creates more space within the earpads, resulting in an airier sound, with cleaner bass and improved mid-range presence.

The Empyrean II comes with a Meze Audio PCUHD Copper or Silver Premium cable, available with 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.4mm, 6.35mm or 4-pin XLR connectors. The Empyrean II comes with a new, very strong ABS plastic case with foam inserts and leather handle.
