Three years ago, FIIO launched the FH9, their first high-end flagship hybrid earphone. With its dynamic sound, wide soundstage and refined sound quality, it was enthusiastically received by Hi-Fi users around the world. Over time, it gained a reputation among audiophiles as an example of "balanced earphones" and exceeded expectations in terms of popularity. Even today, it remains a strong competitor in the market.

Now FIIO introduces the FH19, a significant upgrade based on user feedback. It retains the signature sound and craftsmanship of the FH9, while benefiting from a collaboration with Tokyo Onkyo Ltd. in Japan and Knowles in the US. The FH19 features a high-quality acoustic design with a richer midrange and more powerful, yet flexible bass. The fit has also been optimized to provide exceptional comfort based on the characteristics of the human ear.

In collaboration with Tokyo Onkyo Co. Ltd., FIIO has developed a push-pull dual dynamic driver for the FH19, inspired by technology from the high-end audio world. This design uses two 13.7 mm dynamic drivers with high magnetic strength and PU+DLC composite membranes placed in opposite directions. When the membranes move, the movement of the drivers remains consistently in phase, doubling the driving force and allowing air suspension. This provides a more stable movement of the diaphragms and effectively suppresses residual noise after the audio signal stops.

Compared to conventional dynamic drivers, the push-pull dual drivers achieve the target sound pressure level by half the amplitude, which reduces diaphragm displacement and improves linear performance. This results in less intermodulation distortion, ensuring cleaner sound reproduction.

For the mid and high frequency range, the FH19 is equipped with six Knowles balanced armature drivers. To improve vocal quality, FIIO collaborated with Knowles to develop a custom midrange balanced armature driver. By adding acoustic openings at the rear of the driver, the midrange driver receives more sound energy, resulting in rich and lifelike vocals, as if the singer were standing next to you.

The FH19's build quality reflects its flagship status, highlighted by the titanium center frame. The luxurious texture and distinctive color of titanium exude a high-end aesthetic. Since the center frame is the most touched part of the earphone, the rigidity and corrosion resistance of the titanium ensure that the earphone can withstand daily wear and tear, embodying the essence of a flagship product.

Made of 7000-series aluminum, the FH19 offers both strength and durability while reducing weight, ensuring a comfortable fit despite its complex acoustic design and additional drivers.

To optimize performance, the FH19 employs a suspended voice coil design, where the coil lines are routed from beneath the diaphragm and float freely in the aperture. This design minimizes unwanted contact and glue load, ensuring smooth diaphragm movement without interference and fully exploiting the potential of the diaphragm.

The FH19 comes standard with high-purity pure silver cable. Each of the 8 strands contains 28 wires, a total of 224 wires, all of which are insulated with enamel and braided in a Litz configuration. The outer jacket is made of imported eco-friendly TPU, which gives a bright appearance and prevents the cable from yellowing over time or becoming stiff at low temperatures.
