FiiO FH7S

The FH7S carries on the essence of the FH9 with not only a lighter body, but also an acoustic structure of 1 dynamic driver and 4 balanced armatures that democratizes numerous advanced technologies. Low frequencies are produced by the 2nd generation 13.6mm DLC driver developed by FiiO, mid-range frequencies by the exclusively customized DFK BA drivers developed by Knowles and FiiO, and high frequencies by the Knowles SWFK-31736 BA driver. Based on the design of the inner cavity, the tuning and crossover systems were redesigned to obtain a smooth frequency response and resolving highs.

The FH7S uses FiiO’s 2nd generation semi-open design. This semi-open design incorporates FiiO’s system of balanced pressure relief between the front and rear cavities. The result is that when the drivers push air to create sound, that air encounters less resistance – resulting in smoother yet detailed sound, natural timbre, large soundstage, and accurate imaging.

The all-new FiiO silicone earbuds, HS18, make their debut in the FH7S for the first time. We have sought the best for every little detail. By choosing optimal silicone materials, they are not only skin-friendly and durable, but also only 0.4mm thick on the surface that touches the ears, which ensures better comfort and sealing.

The FH7S comes standard with a cable consisting of 8 strands of 19 wires each - for a total of 152 strands of silver-plated monocrystalline copper, all individually insulated from each other. Compared to the FH7, the twist-lock interchangeable audio plugs allow you to easily switch between 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs.
