AudioQuest Forest USB Lightning

AudioQuest offers a specially designed cable for every application, whatever way you want to connect your music and your playback devices. Our extensive line of USB cables includes four models with an Apple® Lightning™ connector (as used on all new iOS devices). Whether you want to connect your mobile device to a car stereo with USB input or stream your music to your home entertainment system, you always need a high-quality cable with low distortion if you want full, involving and three-dimensional sound. Thin and flat may be what you want your iPhone or iPad® to look like, but it's not the way you want to hear your music.

MASSIVE0.5% SILVERED GUIDERS: Solid conductors prevent mutual interference between wires in twisted-pair cables and reduce jitter. Solid silver-plated conductors are perfect for high-frequency applications, such as USB audio. These signals, because they have such a high frequency, transport themselves almost exclusively over the surface of the conductor. Because this surface is made of a very pure grade of silver, the performance is almost equal to that of a solid silver conductor, but is much closer to solid copper cables in terms of pricing. This is an incredibly cost-effective way to produce high-quality USB cables.

FOAMED-HARD-CEL ISOLATION: Only foamed hard-cell insulation is used in most AudioQuest video and digital cables. As with foamed-PE, nitrogen is injected to create air chambers. Hard foam is used because the stiffness of the material keeps the distance between conductors stable throughout the length of the cable, keeping the cable's characteristic impedance constant.

METAL-LOW NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM (NDS): 100% shielding is simple. Preventing captured RF disturbances from modulating the equipment's ground potential requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System. Noise-Dissipation System prevents much of the captured RFI from reaching the equipment ground potential.
