The FIIO FT1 earcups are made from carefully selected FAS-grade American black walnut, showcasing the wood’s characteristic smooth grain and fine texture, highlighting its inherent beauty. The high density of this solid wood effectively minimizes cavity resonance and dampens standing waves.

The diaphragm of the FIIO FT1 is made primarily of selectively sourced paperwood fibers, sourced from 90-year-old Northern European spruce trees. Renowned for its bright sound and rich tonal quality, this spruce is a premium choice for musical instruments and fiber products. The mature spruce undergoes extensive processing including soaking, boiling, and pressing to produce a specialized pulp. To ensure optimum acoustic resilience, a precise blend of carbon fibers is incorporated. The diaphragm is then baked and shaped, achieving a final thickness of approximately 0.1mm, balancing weight and durability. To maximize the acoustic capabilities of the nanowood fibers, a lightweight PU material with high internal resistance is used for the suspension gasket, improving diaphragm compatibility, amplifying low frequency response, and enriching vocal clarity, resulting in a warm, lush sound.

As FIIO’s first closed over-ear headphones, the FT1 is equipped with various features that enhance the closed-back listening experience. The array of noise isolation components effectively reduces ambient noise by up to 26dB, filtering out external voices and environmental noises. Whether you are on the go, editing audio, working in the office, or gaming, the FT1 allows you to fully immerse yourself in a premium audio experience, making it a versatile and high-quality headphone.

The U-shaped damping tube specially designed for the FIIO FT1 not only enhances passive noise reduction, but also channels sound energy through a carefully calculated length and angle, increasing air viscosity and minimizing the resonant frequency of the cavity. This design greatly enhances bass extension, allowing you to feel the powerful air movement and the impact of drums and strings.

The FIIO FT1 is designed to deliver a high-quality HiFi experience in various usage scenarios. With a low impedance of 32Ω and an impressive acoustic sensitivity of 113dB/Vrms@1kHz (or 98dB/mW@1kHz), this design minimizes the need for significant drive power, allowing you to effortlessly enjoy exceptional sound quality.

For enhanced wearability, the FT1 features a headband with high-quality ball bearings, increasing durability and precision. The headband offers a generous 12-notch adjustment range, accommodating a variety of head sizes. The contact surface is lined with soft suede leather, ensuring a comfortable fit.

The FT1 comes with an elegant headphone storage case, made with the same craftsmanship and materials as prestigious French brands, combining style and functionality for added protection.

The new FT1 package comes with two headphone cables, one 3.5mm single-ended and one 4.4mm balanced, both made of oxygen-free copper-plated silver wire, with 392 strands of 24AWG gauge and a length of 1.5 meters. This versatility allows for easy compatibility with a variety of audio devices, allowing you to seamlessly switch cables while enjoying transparent yet robust sound for an immersive listening experience.
