The HPA V550 has most of the features of the review winner DHA V590 – except for the D/A converter.

The HPA V550 thus includes the analogue functionality, the perfect control of every dynamic headphone and the excellent preamplifier function. The latest findings of the multiple test winners Violectric and Niimbus were implemented in the headphone amplifier. All functions can be easily controlled with a stylish remote control. With its incomparable technology, the HPA V550 not only offers one of the most powerful headphone amplifiers on the market, but also:

Lowest noise - due to a very small amount of internal gain. This makes the self-generated noise of the amplifier inaudible.

High output voltage - due to the internal operating voltage of 50 V. Therefore ideally suited for headphones with high impedance that require a high output voltage.

High output power - thanks to powerful amplifiers that provide much more power than even the most demanding headphones would need. So best suited for headphones with low impedances and magnetostatic headphones.

High damping factor - thanks to the lowest output impedance. Therefore the ideal match for difficult to drive headphones without negative side effects and with the guarantee of an uncompromising frequency response.

Remote Control - Control the HPA V550 with the stylish remote control, machined from a solid block of aluminum. Using infrared rays, you have access to motorized volume control, mute, input selection, resampling settings, headphone and line-out controls.
