The Audeze LCD-XC planar headphones have the same construction as the much-praised Audeze LCD-X, but have a closed-back construction. In these new LCD-XC over-ear headphones, Audeze also applies its ultra-sensitive 106mm Planar Magnetic drivers and powerful Neodymium magnets. With this, these headphones deliver a beautifully homogeneous and phase-correct music reproduction in which a maximum of important transient information in the music is retained.

Sound quality

When developing new headphones, Audeze always looks for an optimal balance between the output power of the (headphone) amplifier, driver impedance and the sensitivity of the Planar Magnetic drivers.
