Meze Elite
The Meze Elite is, as the name might suggest, Meze’s new flagship model. These open-back over-ear planar-magnetic headphones feature all the technical innovations this Romanian manufacturer developed over the past three decades. The result is a headphone with a magical soundstage, a lovely warm tonal balance and a remarkably natural timbre. Although these headphones perform very well when used with most sound sources, they deliver top performance when used with a dedicated headphone amplifier.
The components of these headphones are manufactured with CNC precision and are thoroughly inspected before each part is assembled entirely by hand. The design of the headband of this Meze Elite is not only beautiful to look at, it also contributes to the high wearing comfort during longer listening sessions. The use of carbon fiber with an optimal pressure distribution and the supple, head-forming leather of the support strap provide a perfect light-weight fit.
Isodynamic hybrid array
The planar-magnetic driver of the Elite features a featherweight Rinaro Parus Diaphragm. Thanks to the high speed of this ultra-thin diaphragm and the powerful magnets, these headphones offer an ultra-high resolution and reproduce even the smallest nuances and important transients in the music without any loss. Magnetic Field Shielding technology provides up to 95% better protection against magnetism towards the listener's head.
Love for music
Thanks to the split membrane with the Dual Driven System, the bass is produced in the upper part of the membrane and the mid and high tones are built up in the lower part, allowing the sound to flow more effectively into the ear canal. The sound occurs to be more 'naturally' and results in an uncompromising audiophile sound experience.
These headphones come with a 3.5mm, 6.3mm or 4-pin XLR headphone cable and two comfortable earpads made of different materials. The alcantara pads, developed for the Empyrean flagship model, allows the listener to experience music with ultimate comfort. The hybrid earpads are constructed from alcantara and leather. With these pads the headphones deliver a wonderful openness and the bass is a tad less powerful without sacrificing the musical emotion. Meze ships this Elite flagship model in a robust protective aluminum storage case, emphasizing its premium character once more.
