AudioQuest Monsoon
AudioQuest Monsoon is the replacement for the NRG-4 series. It is constructed of thicker, solid conductors of Long Grain Copper (LGC) and Perfect Surface Copper+ (PSC+) and features the famous Ground Noise Dissipation System. This is a special multilayer shield that absorbs high-frequency noise signals before they enter the conductors and thus your audio equipment. The more luxurious IEC connector again has a very compact profile so that it also fits into the flat equipment. The cable has a larger diameter and is therefore somewhat less flexible than the cables in the NRG series, but this pays for itself in sound quality.
The black blue braided Monsoon cables are available in 1m, 2m and 3m lengths.
