The OBERON 3 gives you the best of both worlds. Its cabinet size provides an optimal balance of internal volume and low-end performance, and a compact design suitable for small rooms and discrete hi-fi systems or for wall mounting. Combining the big sound of a floorstander with the compact design of a monitor, the OBERON 3 is the perfect solution for stand or bookshelf placement.

When DALI began work on the OBERON speaker series, they selected the best elements of their existing speakers and brought them together in a series that excels in terms of sound quality, appearance and versatility. The ultra-lightweight 29-millimeter soft dome tweeter connects seamlessly with the 18-centimeter wood-fiber woofer for impressive treble, a detailed and transparent midrange and surprisingly coherent and tight bass.

The OBERON 3 is easy to integrate into any room. Both the materials for the loudspeaker units and the geometry used in the OBERON 3 were chosen to create a wide dispersion in the listening room. The same principles were applied to the design of the crossover.

As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will be much more likely when the speaker is positioned directly onto the listening position. This is also the reason why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.
