Get much closer to the music you make thanks to the Class A output stage and fully balanced outputs for connecting to active monitors or an external power amplifier.

Prefer to use headphones? No problem. You can choose from balanced 4.4mm, S-balanced 3.5mm or single-ended 6.3mm connections with adjustable gain.

The Pro iDSD Studio uses a quad 'core' of Burr Brown D/As in a custom interleaved configuration - to deliver exceptional resolution. A total of eight pairs (four for each channel) of differential signals are used and mixed.

The powerful XMOS XU216 X-Core 200 series chipset processes incoming digital data, enabling the Pro iDSD Studio to deliver state-of-the-art audio support – 32-bit/768kHz PCM, DSD512, 2xDXD and full MQA decoding.

Data is sent from all inputs to the Memory Buffer, where it is dejittered to eliminate any source jitter carryover to the D/A output. The Memory Buffer data is further re-clocked by the low-jitter Global Master Timing® clock, which also drives the X-Core 200.

For synchronization in recording studios, the Pro iDSD Studio supports AES3id-based DARS (Digital Audio Reference Signal) according to AES11.

And if you happen to have a really good atomic clock (Sanford Research Systems PERF10 grade or better), it can be used to further boost the already impressive internal clock of the Pro iDSD Studio.

Quiet. Very quiet.

The Pro iDSD Studio is designed to be ultra-quiet with ultra-low distortion for extremely accurate reproduction of the recording.

Each D/A converter operates in 'voltage output mode', giving a dynamic range of >119dB and headphone output of 4,200mw. A fully balanced passive filter is used to remove ultrasonic noise immediately after the D/A conversion, so that the subsequent analogue stage is not required to handle ultrasonic noise and RFI from the D/A processes.

All inputs are galvanically isolated, including the USB, which has its own separate power management system.

And. Musical.

In addition to the traditional inputs, the Pro iDSD Studio integrates a WiFi/network playback system that uses linkplay DLNA and Airdrop to access streaming from MacBooks or streaming services such as Tidal.

Wide protocol support including Airplay and USB memory/HDD/SD card playback make it a complete standalone streamer/network audio player with 32bit/192kHz & DSD64 support.
