The entire front panel is taken up by a spacious and easy-to-read 14.9-inch touchscreen. With this screen you can operate all functions, adjust the settings to your personal preferences and be optimally informed about the music being played.

Do you prefer to operate the multimedia network player in a familiar way? A handy Bluetooth remote control is included with which you can operate the player even out of sight. Via the ROSE Connect smartphone app for iOS and Android you can clearly browse through the music collections on your NAS or online. However you want to operate the player, this network player offers a completely new streaming experience and sets a new standard.

Functionality

The responsive and highly innovative ROSE OS gives you access to ROSE Tube, a selection of YouTube videos. You can play these video clips via the display of the multimedia network player and via a 4K UHD screen in high-resolution image and sound quality. Experience your own digital music and film library in high-quality stereo quality. Play internet radio stations and listen to podcasts. You can also connect a CD-ROM drive via the USB port, allowing you to play and rip your CD collection in the highest possible sound quality.

The player supports Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz. Stream music via Airplay, DLNA, via ROON or connect your digital audio component and enjoy music in an incredibly good sound quality. In addition, the DAC is suitable for converting MQA files so that you can optimally enjoy the Tidal Master collection. Do you want more functionality? Via the ROSE Store you can download free apps with which you can add endless functionality in the blink of an eye.

Premium DAC

The HiFi ROSE RS150B is equipped with a high-quality Sabre ES9038pro DAC chip. This offers a maximum resolution of 32bit-768kHz PCM and Native DSD support up to DSD512. The digital engine is suitable for almost any type of file format. Thanks to the application of the accurate Femto clock, you will experience virtually no jitter during playback. This makes the built-in DAC ideally suited as a high-quality DAC for your existing digital sound source.

Connectivity

This premium multimedia network player is equipped with just about every connection you could wish for. Analogue, the player is equipped with a stereo RCA line input, a stereo RCA line output and balanced XLR outputs. Digitally, the RS150B has a coaxial S/PDIF in and output, an optical Toslink in and output, AES/EBU balanced in and out, USB audio in, HDMI in (ARC) and out, a MicroSD slot, a USB-C port, two USB3.0 ports and a USB port for a WiFi/Bluetooth dongle if you do not want to use the fixed network connection.

Unique in its kind

A real distinguishing feature is the ability to connect this RS150B as a digital source to an external DAC using I2S. The rear features an RJ45 connector (CMOS 3.3V) and a DVI port (A/B mode).
