Shanling CD80II
For headphone enthusiasts, the CD80II offers a balanced 4.4 mm output, powered by a pair of SGM8262 amplifiers and outputting up to 850 mW at 32 Ohms. It also features an upgraded DAC section, replacing the classic ESS DAC with the popular Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC, known for its energetic and highly detailed sound reproduction.
The CD system has been significantly improved and now features a reliable tray mechanism with an HD850 laser and the 4th generation drive system, derived from the CD-S100(25), for accurate and smooth CD playback.
When the CD collection is not enough, the CD80II easily switches to Bluetooth receiver mode. This allows music to be comfortably streamed from any phone or tablet, with support for LDAC and AAC Bluetooth codecs.
For lovers of Hi-Res files, the CD80II also supports playback from USB drives, up to PCM 384 kHz and DSD256. In the process, the Eddict Player app for iOS and Android functions as a remote control and music browser.
