Shanling UP6
Nearly four years after the introduction of the UP5, Shanling returns to compact Bluetooth DAC/AMPs with an all-new flagship: the UP6. This portable powerhouse features two ESS ES9069Q DACs and dual SGM8262 amplifiers for fully balanced headphone output. The result is an impressive output power of up to 626 mW @ 32Ω directly from the internal battery - without external power supply or additional cables. This places the UP6 among the most powerful compact Bluetooth DACs on the market, comparable to high-end USB dongles.
For wireless use, the UP6 features the modern Qualcomm QCC5125 chip, with support for LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive and AAC for smooth and high-quality Bluetooth streaming. In addition, the UP6 can be used as a USB DAC with computers and smartphones, with the XMOS XU316 USB input ensuring lossless Hi-Res playback.
In terms of design, the UP6 follows the style of the UA6, with a robust aluminum body and a weight of only 50 grams. The slightly larger size houses a 1.54-inch color display, which allows all important settings to be controlled directly on the device. For additional features, such as EQ settings and OTA updates, there is the Eddict Player app.
