iFi Audio Groundhog+
The Groundhog+ now comes with an additional cable to provide grounding for the AC iPurifier.
The iFi Groundhog+ is not a device, but a set of special cables that can be used to ground an ungrounded system if necessary. The set consists of a basic cable with an IEC power connector and a male tulip plug (which connects to a free input of an amplifier, for example) and three adapters: USB to female tulip plug (for computers, etc.), spade to female tulip plug (for DC low-voltage connectors - such as on wall-mounted transformers) and a Y-splitter for plugging into a free 3.5mm output of portable devices. Depending on the device to be grounded, one of the adapters is connected to the base cable, which is plugged into an ordinary grounded IEC power cord. In the basic cable, the ring of the tulip plug is connected to the ground pin of the IEC connector, providing a flexible ground connection.
