Sennheiser's new HD 560S over-ear open-back headphones are the little brother of the highly acclaimed HD 660S and share the design with the Sennheiser HD 559 and HD 599 predecessors. Despite the similarity, this new HD 560S is aimed at a very different audience. This new Sennheiser is mainly aimed at the younger demanding music lover. As such, the sound of these headphones is specifically tailored to the music that appeals to the target group up to about 35 years of age.

New drivers

These economically priced headphones offer a significant jump in sound quality due to the newly developed 120 Ohm drivers with polymer diaphragm and more powerful magnet. These HD 560S deliver better low-end response and control between 6Hz and 38Hz and play above 10kHz with more quietness, openness and detail. Due to the flatter frequency curve, these headphones deliver even more realistic music reproduction with which the sound quality of these headphones will also appeal to audiophile music lovers.
