The iFi Audio PowerStation is a junction box designed specifically for hi-fi installations for six hi-fi components and has an active built-in mains filter. Active Noise Cancellation

In this new PowerStation, iFi applies its all-new Active Noise Cancellation II. Here, iFi uses "inverting" mains pollution to actively eliminate it. This technology is similar to the way noise cancellation headphones work. With this, iFi Audio achieves a noise reduction of -40dB. After this, the mains voltage is also passively filtered at each connection so that high-frequency mains pollution from any of the connected components is not propagated through the mains plugs.
