Rivo means Stream in Italian and, in fact, this is the essence of the device. It streams music to your DAC. Nothing more, nothing less. But it does it very, very well. If you have a DAC you like or an integrated amplifier/preamplifier with a built-in DAC, the Rivo is optimized to stream music to them in all high-resolution formats, all with the authentic details.

High Quality Technology

Simplicity in the Rivo's architecture, by building the cleanest possible digital signal path. Filtering and isolation are meticulously designed by using multiple 1:1 OFC copper-oriented transformers, which ensure galvanic isolation of the digital outputs (SPDIF and AES/EBU). This means that the digital signal path arrives in your DAC without any filtering or alteration. You are assured that your music is at its clearest and most natural.

Nutrition and Clock

The power supply is separate for each section, with one dedicated to the internal clock that has its own stabilizer. Before feeding the circuits, a filter section is provided, based on a chain of coils and electrolytic capacitors with ad hoc developed cells. All integral components of the Rivo therefore have high performance and stability on their own, which together produce a completely low-noise and reliable device.

A Roon Ready Streamer

All Rivo devices are Roon Ready certified by Roon Labs. This enables seamless integration with the Roon system and guarantees the use of Roon streaming technology with Volumio Rivo, without compromising high audio performance.
